Por qué la caja necesita su propio archivo
Un motor tuneado entrega más torque del que la caja estaba programada para esperar. Si no se toca, la caja se protege sola: patina, sube de marcha antes de tiempo, o directamente rechaza el torque extra y perdés la mayor parte de lo que ganó el mapa de motor.
La calibración de caja sube esos límites y rehace la velocidad de cambio, los puntos de cambio y la presión de embrague para que la transmisión acompañe al motor en vez de pelearse con él.
