When you need one
Sometimes the read fails, the tool cannot pull a full file, or the ECU arrives already modified by someone else and there is no backup. In all of those cases you need a clean factory file before any work can start.
Open a request choosing the option that says you do not have the file, enter the ECU hardware number, software number and version, and we search our records for the matching original.
The stock file is useful on its own too: it is what you flash back to return a vehicle to factory condition before a service visit or a resale.
What we need from you
The ECU hardware number, the software number and the software version, exactly as your tool reports them. A photo of the ECU label works when the tool cannot read it.
Availability depends on the control unit. If we cannot source it, the request is cancelled and the credits go back to your account.
